Activity: (MILF 2.5): Opportunities for leadership and collaborative
decision making distributed among stakeholder, especially teachers
Time: 12 hours
Artifact: Red Ribbon Awareness
Description: I worked with faculty, students and interns to create a school
project for Red Ribbon Week. This involved finding a way to make students
feel personally involved, yet feasibly possible for over 900 students to
participate.

Reflection: I spent 3 hours working with the school counseling intern to try
and find an appropriate project for the entire school staff and student
population to participate. I spent about 3 hours discussing the project with
school administration and staff and 2 hours talking to student groups to
finalize the project. I spent another 4 hours working with students and
faculty to create the project and display it in the school cafeteria. This
project was developed to help students raise awareness to our drug problem
in todays society and to make a pledge to say no to drugs. There were
several activities throughout the week pertaining to this topic.
