Activity: (MILF 8.3): Coordinate with School Resource Officer to
handle threat of student to himself and others: Community
stakeholders and school partners who readily participate in school
life
Time: 6 hours
Artifact: Personal notes for documentation of threat and subsequent
activities to ensure student and faculty safety
Description: One student reported being bullied in the school, he had an
explosive personality and had started making shooting motions with his had
at several students. I completed a threat assessment on the student.
Reflection: I spent about 2 hours discussing the threat and behaviors with
all students involved. I then talked to the student in question and completed
the assessment which took about 2 hours. I reviewed all information with
the school administration, the students parents and faculty involved in the
incident. I also talked with the school resource officer and the school
psychologist which took approximately 2 hours.
