Use drop step and defensive slide. 3 slides then drop, step, repeat.

Students defensive slide to correct side.

Sprint to front.

6 steps maui then 6 steps katau. Repeat

Shark. Make fin on head and run to the hoops. Get as many in each
hoop as possible.

Waka ruku

Submarine. Lay on back with arm raised as a periscope

This is a fun activity that incorporates specific basketball drills while at the same time
introduces Te Reo.
