-Remember to send student permission slip and payment for the Morningside Nature Center field trip by Wednesday, September 28. We have had lots of volunteer drivers, and may need to double up. Thank you for such a wonderful response! -Student writing is coming home with scores from the states rubric (0-6). I am impressed with the quality and enthusiasm of their writing! If you have any questions or concerns, please see me. -Interim reports will be sent home on Tuesday, th September 27 .

This weeks selection is Lou Gehrig: The Luckiest Man, by David Adler. The comprehension skill for the week will be prefixes, suffixes, and roots. The writing focus is expository.
