Introduction
A right triangle is a triangle in which one angle is a right angle. The relation between the sides and angles of a right triangle is the basic for trigonometry. The side opposite the right angle is called the hypotenuse. The sides adjacent to the right angle are called legs. Side a may be identified as the side adjacent to angle B and opposed to (or opposite) angle A, while side b is the side adjacent to angle A and opposed to angle B.

Trigonometry is a study of triangles and the relationships between their sides and the angles between these sides. The field evolved during the third century BC as a branch of geometry used extensively for astronomical studies. It is also the foundation of the practical art of surveying. Trigonometry basics are often taught in school either as a separate course or as part of a pre calculus course. The trigonometric functions are pervasive in parts of pure mathematics and applied mathematics such, which are in turn essential to many branches of science and technology. Spherical trigonometry studies triangles on spheres, surfaces of constant positive curvature, in elliptic geometry. It is important to astronomy and navigation. Trigonometry on surfaces of negative curvature is part of Hyperbolic geometry.

Conclusion
I learn what a trigonometry is. I learn what is angle of elevation and angle of depression. I learn who and why would you need to use angles of elevation. I learn how to use similarity relationships in right triangles and the use of trigonometric ratios. I know how to combine me understanding of alternate interior angles with the knowledge of trigonometry to find distances.

Research
Trigonometric ratio is a ratio that describes a relationship between a side and angle of a triangle.

Angles of depression is an angle that is formed with the horizontal, if the line of sight is downward from the horizontal, the angle is an angle of depression. Mainly, it is used for obtaining the distance of the two objects where we only know their angle and an object's distance from the ground.

Angle of elevation is the angle between the horizontal and the line of sight to an object above the horizontal. Engineer use angle of elevation. Angle of elevation is use to find distance.
