Religion: We are learning about the season of

Advent. On Tuesday morning, we gathered in the
hallway outside of our classroom with grades
Kindergarten, 1, 2, and 3 for our weekly Advent
prayer and song. We set up the Advent wreath on
our prayer table in our classroom.
Reading: We are working with short and long
vowel sounds. We are reading and writing words
with silent e (super e). We are working with plurals
(adding s and es). We completed Unit 6 in our
reading text. We are writing in our December
journals.
Math: We are solving addition problems with 3
addends. We are learning to follow the steps to
find the sums. We reviewed the strategies of using
tens and counting on to solve addition problems.
