UNPACKING OF STANDARDS TEMPLATE

Unpacking of standards is a process wherein we need to make our objectives more clearly,
precise, suitable and aligned to our content standards, performance standards, and also in our
learning competencies.

Unpacking of Learning competencies can help us as a teacher because as we all know

there are some learning competencies in our curriculum that are vague or not much specific. So
that, if we unpack the learning competencies we can assure that our students will understand
the objectives of their lessons and why they need to study that topic.

For me, as a future teacher I will use the unpacking of learning competencies because I
know that this will help me to make my teaching strategies more effective and it will show the
creativity of a teacher on how we can make our lessons exciting to learners. And also it will help
the students to easily understand what are those topics that they need to tackle. So that, being
a teacher we should know how to unpack our learning competencies and it is our responsibility
to give our students a clear understanding of all about what are they studying. However, we all
know that unpacking will takes time in which we should allot more time for doing this because
as a future educator we should know how to scrutinize every competency in which we could
make it easy for our students.
