November Newsletter

Hello, parents, and welcome to November at the Greek class in PCA!

Congratulations to your children for their willingness to participate in the OXI day
program and their final performance! And I thank you all for your support during a
wonderful October.

Please keep in mind that on Tuesday 11/14 students will be taking their 1st Quarter
General Test. Its a chance for them to review learnt stuff and show what they know.
Instructions and review stuff will be given out instead of homework on 11/10.

Writing/Speaking

The students will use , , ... to act out dialogues in class.

They will also write a prayer and what they are thankful for to God everyday.

They will write their monthly Newsletter in Greek to send to their Greek pen pals
in an elementary school of Athens.

Religion

November is a month full of feast days: November 1: The Holy Unmercenaries and
Doctors St. Cosmas and Damianos (patron saints of our Chapel); November 8: The
Archangels Michael and Gabriel; November 21: The Entrance of the Theotokos into the
Temple; November 25: St. Katherine; November 30: St. Andrew. !

Mark your calendar

November 21st: Parent/Teacher Conferences 1 pm 8 pm. I expect to see you then! You
will have a chance to see your childs work, discuss his/her progress, and have your
questions answered.
