Description of the artifact and how it meets the standard and criteria:

These are the SMART goals that the 4th grade team and I created for the 2017-2018
year. We used last years Iowa Assessment data to come up with the SMART Goals.
This artifact shows that I am implementing professional development plans into my daily
teaching instruction because I am focusing on these students in my whole and small
group instruction. I look at this document and focus on the student's strengths and
weaknesses and morph my instruction that would best suit their needs.

Reflection on the artifact:

I am very glad that we make these documents. It is very informational to see what
students are below proficiency in my classroom. I have 4 students in math and 7
students in reading. Two students are below proficiency in both subjects. With this
document, I am able to hone in on the student who might need additional reteaching, or
a little extra instruction when I am teaching my small groups. This gives me the
information to focus more on them while I am teaching in the hopes that we can raise
their proficiency as a team.
