There is a zombie outbreak and we have to find a way to survive it.

Scenario was set that there was a zombie outbreak and it is the classes job to
predict how many zombies there will be after a certain number of days. They are
working with exponential rules.

Packet work needs to continue as homework if not completed.

General observations:

Learners came in quietly and started work on math. All paperwork for the day was set up near
the door and learners knew to get all the worksheets as they came in. It was a very effective
classroom management technique. Attendance was taken using a whiteboard marker and a

seating chart which I felt was also efficient in order to get class started quickly. Learners
enjoyed the themed math.
