Ling ( लग) Gender  ह द ाकरण

लग श द का अथ होता है च या पहचान। ह द ाकरण के अ तगत लग उसे कहा जाता ह, जसके ारा कसी
श द के ी या पु ष जा त का होने का बोध होता हो

लग दो कार के होते ह -There are two types of gender

(अ) पु लंग

(ब) ी लग

(अ) पु लंग

जसके ारा कसी श द क पु ष जा त का बोध या पता चलता हो, उसे पु लंग कहा जाता ह।

जैसे – युवराज, लाल, पहाड़, चाँद आ द

(ब) ी लग

जसके ारा कसी श द क ी जा त का बोध या पता चलता हो तो, उसे ी लग कहा जाता ह।

जैसे – सोनम, अ या पका, एकादशी, सुमन, आ द

लग क पहचान न न कार से क जा सकती है

लग क पहचान श द के वहार से होती है।

जन श द के अ त म आँ, एँ आ द लगा हो तो वो ी लग होगा। शेष सभी पु लंग ह गे।

जन श द के अ तम ंजन पर बड़े ऊ व बड़ी ई आ द क मा ा हो मु यतः ी लग होते ह।

(1) पु लग

(अ) ाणीवाचक पु लंग

पु ष, मनु य,लड़का,कौवा, शेर, उ लू, खटमल,तोता,बाज,सांप,मढ़क,गै डा,कछु आ,पशु,बैल,कुता आ द

( ) अ ा णवाचक पु लंग

इसमे पवत के नाम, महीन के नाम, दन या वार के नाम, ह के नाम, दे श के नाम, वृ के नाम, अनाज के
नाम(अपवाद वार), व पदाथ के नाम, समय सुचक नाम, दे वता के नाम,धातु के नाम(अपवाद चांद ), समु
के नाम आ द मु य प से पु लंग म आते ह। इनके अलावा शरीर के अंग के नाम भी पु लंग म आते है ले कन कुछ
अपवाद व प(ठु डी, कोहनी, जीभ,गदन,अंगल
ु ी) भी ह।

जैसे – भारत, सूय, सोना, नीम, बाजरा, चना,पीतल, ताबा,सोमवार, चै , जुन, हमालय।

(2) ी लग

इसमे भाषा , बो लय , ल पय , त थय ,न दय ,पहा ड़यो,दे वय , म हला के नाम, लता के नाम आ द मु य

प से ी लग म आते ह।

जैसे – गंगा, यमुना,दे वनागरी, ह द , एकादशी, गा, सीता, गीता,सुमन,अमर बेल।
