3. Materials: s-m cards without stems; Rhythm Q&A Worksheets; instruments

1. Hello’s

2. So-Mi Melody Pattern Warm-Up

3. Doggie Doggie
 Sing whole song
 Decode rhythm at the board as a class
 Review game responses
 Sing and play game

4. Rhythm Q & A
 T. has Q pattern at the board with 5 A patterns
 T. will clap Q pattern and students will respond with an A
 Students will get a partner and create their own Q & A patterns
 Each group will perform on their choice of instrument!

5. Walk & Stop


 Sing and play movement game, if time
