ARTICLE I
Name of the Club

Section 1. The Christian Values Integration club of Saint Gregory Academy shall be known
as Catechist.
ARTICLE II
Aims and Purposes

Section 1. The Catechist aims to assess students to develop their divine attribute.

Section 2. To help students deepen their understanding and faith with God.

Section 3. To be engage in various activities that aims to promote citizenship and awareness
within the society.

Section 4. To ensure that Catechists understand the task of catechesis are interdependent and
develop together.

Section 5. To offer an opportunity for Catechist reflect on the Gifts of the Spirit received at
baptism and identify how the spirit is working in their catechetical ministry.

ARTICLE III
Membership and Qualifications

Section 1. Open to all Senior High School (SHS) students who are enrolled in Saint Gregory
Academy.

ARTICLE IV
Officers and Functions

Section 1. (A) President shall:

1. Supervise all affairs of the club.
2. Preside during the regular Christian Values Integration Club assembly
and special meetings of the club.
3. Ensure the proper implementation of the guidelines (By Laws).

(B) Vice President shall:

1. Perform the duties and responsibilities of the president in case of his/her
absence.
(C) Secretary shall:
1. Take down minutes of the meetings.
2. Keep and maintain all the records and documents of the club for future
reference.
(D) Treasurer shall:
1. Be the custodian of the funds of the club.
2. Prepare the financial reports.
(E) Press Relation’s Officer shall:
1. Ensure the proper representation and dissemination of information to
the members of the club.
 (F) Business Manager shall:
1. Be responsible for managing the activities of the club.

ARTICLE V
Term of Office

Section 1. Any officer of the club shall serve for a period of one school year.

ARTICLE VI
Meetings

Section 1. Regular meeting will be held every 4th Tuesday of the month from 4:00-5:00pm.

Section 2. Emergency meeting shall be called as the need arises.

ARTICLE VII
Disqualifications

Section 1. Any member who will be absent for two (2) consecutive meetings without a valid
reason will be automatically dropped from the list of members.

ARTICLE VIII
Quorum

Section 1. Fifty percent (50%) plus one (1) of members constitutes a quorum.

ARTICLE IX
Amendments

Section 1. This by-laws is effective starting SY 2017-20148. This may be amended, altered or
replaced by two-thirds votes by regular members in a regular or special meeting of
the club if the meeting constitute a quorum.
