FOREWORD

Thank you to God Almighty for giving us all the blessings and blessings, so that this
paper can be solved with the theme of becoming an plane and solid geometry with a
new approach. This paper is intended to understand in more detail about the triangles
congruent

We don't forget to say thank you to the solid plane geometry lecturer who has guided
us. We also thank our friends who have helped us in making this paper.

In this paper we explain plane and solid geometry with a new approach. This paper is
also intended to fulfill plane and personal geometry tasks. We are just ordinary
people where there are mistakes, so we apologize if there are errors or shortcomings
in the paper we made. Hopefully the papers we make can be useful for all of our
knowledge. To achieve the perfection of this paper, we ask for criticism and
suggestions from friends who read it.

CHAPTER I

PRELIMINARY

A. Background

Criticizing a book is one of the demands of learning activities for students in college.
Criticizing books is an activity that is not only comparing one book with another, but
students are also expected to be able to add scientific insights and studies from books
that they criticize. Departing from this, the Critical Book Report contains the results
of summaries, criticisms, weaknesses and strengths of the book entitled essentials of
geometry

B. Purpose of CBR

1. Fulfilling the mandatory duties of the education profession.

2. Knowing and understanding the contents or core of the reviewer book which is
about becoming a professional educator.

C. Benefits of CBR

1. Add insight and knowledge to both writers and readers about the kekongruenan
triangle

2. Add insight and knowledge to both writers and readers about critical book report

SUMMARY

CHAPTER 2
2.2 CONGRUENT TRIANGLES IN PAGE 70
The meaning of congruent from the latin words con {with} and gruere {to agree} ,
literally means “ in agreement with” . intivitively congruent triangles can be made to
coincide by placing one on top of the other either directly or by flipping on of them
over.
 Congruent segment
Are two segments with the same measure
 Congruent angles
Are two angles with the same measure

The parts of congruent triangles that coincade when one is placed on top of the other
coreresponding parts

iv

If all six parts of one triangle or three angles and three sides are congruent to the
coresspending parts of another triangle , the two triangles are congruent

SAS,ASA,SSS
 SAS
Def : if two sides and the included angle of one triangle are congruent to two
coressponding sides and th included angle of second triangle , the triangle are
congruent

 ASA
Def : if two angles and the included side of one triangle are congruent to two
coressponding sides and th included angle of second triangle , the triangle are
congruent

v

 SSS
Def : if three sides of one triangle are congruent to the coressponding three
sides of a second triangle then the triangles are congruent

CHAPTER III
DISCUSSION
A. COMPARISON OF MAIN BOOKS AND COMPARATIVE BOOKS
1.1 WEAKNESS AND LOSS
1.1.1. The weakness of the main book
• the cover is less attractive and dominantly blue
 written too tight
 notes to make the reader understand more like symbols and others

1.1.2. The advantages of the main book

• Very large and complete learning material
 the language used is better understood
 the number of images from the application example
 color that is not dominant in the material so it looks attractive
 many evaluation to practice

DISSCUSSION
In this book the things discussed are about congruent triangles in which he explains
congruent words derived from the Latin language and means they consist of angles
and sides that are equally large, but in some books I am congruent are triangles or
flat fields that are exactly the same as, and different opinions from books and
websites, but after being understood also that this book is indeed much better and
correct, the words used are also very large and many theorems of theorems and
postulates can also be proven and support all meanings and examples of examples
that are in the book, and the next part is where the book explains about SSS, SAS,
ASA, where they interpret the word or abbreviation to fulfill the terms and
conditions or characteristic features that the two triangles are congruent. where the
SSS is side-side-side where it can be said to be a consecutive side 3 times, then it is
congruent but from the book I am referring to there is no term like this, but I see this
only a few books and journals, but when in general, high school, junior high school,

1
vii

there hasn't been any discussion about this. it's also SAS, side-angle-side where after
the side and angle and the side return, then the triangle is congruent, according to
ASA, angle-side-angle, where the angle is then the side and ends of the angle, the
triangle is congruent , but if you want it easily, it can be seen through the picture.

CHAPTER V

CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS

5.1 Conclusions

The conclusion of this Critical Book Report is that we know how to criticize a book
properly so that we can make the book a reference, through its contents we know about
congruent triangles where there are traits and conditions to form congruent triangles. the
angles and sides are equal between two triangles, and also there are SSS, ASA, SAS in
finding the triangle congruent or not.

5.2 Suggestions

Suggestions for this book are for the book to be more tidied up so that it is easy to
read, and make cover more attractive, please provide criticism or suggestions in working on
this assignment, I am only an ordinary person who can make mistakes, I hope I can make
critical book report better, on his advice.
