1. The apparatus is set up as shown in figure 2.4.1

2. The distance between the end of the board to that touches the ground to the end of the
board that touches the book is measured (Figure 2.4.2)

4. The starting point of the car (middle of the car) is marked down.
5. The distance from the marked line to the end of the inclined plane is taken.
