Technology and Livelihood Education
Grade 7 - Computer Hardware Servicing
I. Objectives
At the end of the lesson, the learners are expected to:
A. identify hardware tools and equipment according to function and task requirement;
B. discuss the four hardware tools and its uses;
C. label/name the tools given with the sense of self-confidence; and
D. appreciate the value of computer hardware tools through paying attention to the discussion.

II. Subject Matter


Topic: Use Hand Tools and Equipment
Sub-topic: Proper Tool Selection
Reference: TLE 7 Learning Module Pages 4-15, K to 12 Curriculum Guide for TLE 7
Materials: Pictures and Power point Presentation

III. Learning Procedure


A. Preliminary Activity

B. Activity
1. The teacher will divide the class into 5 groups. Each group will be given several pictures and
they need to identify it. They will write the answer on the sheet of paper.
2. They will do the activity for 3-5 minutes.

C. Analysis
1. Do you find the activity difficult?
2. What do you think those pictures are? How do we call them?

D. Abstraction
1. The teacher will discuss the topic about the Use of Hand tools.
2. The teacher will ask the following question as the discussion goes.
- What is a Tool?
- Give one safety precautions in using different types of too?l

E. Application
