Responsible for administrating the compensation Supports hiring & retaining the talent essential for
& benefit policies, processes & personnel taxation business growth by effectively managing compen. &
of all employees on RIL and Adecco payrolls. ben. policies, process & tax laws within timelines.
Ensures statutory complies related to payroll and Provides accurate & timely MIS for optimisation of HR
manages HR MIS. costs and decision making in HR.
B. ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
Prepare Annual HR budget and implement on approval.
Implement SAP HCM. - & SuccessFactors - Hire, new incumbents , perform transactions on Transfers,
promotions, separation and deputation.
Maintain and update employee master data in SuccessFactors / SAP and files.
Coordinate with SAP consultants for resolving SAP HCM / SuccessFactors related queries, issues
causing hindrances in pay roll process , updation of master data and regulatory changes.
Salary structuring of both new incumbents and existing employees as per employment terms and on
salary revision or annual increments through Com. & Ben. Module in SuccessFactors
Release appointment orders and employment contracts to new incumbents as per approvals.
Release letters on salary revisions, increments or promotions through SuccessFactors and implement the
same through payroll.
Maintain details of Income Tax , pay roll and statutory deductions for Pay Roll Process.
Ensure salaries are disbursed by 1st to blue and white collar employees and by 10th to temp. staff
engaged through Adecco.
Track, process and advise the off cycle payments of eligible staff related to reimbursements like LTA,
Medical , petrol.
Administer Sodexo/ Zeta Food coupons as per eligibility limits for staff.
Proactively address all employee grievances and escalate them promptly where ever required.
Filing of quarterly and annual Income Tax returns related to employee salaries.
Issue Form 16 to all employees covered under Income Tax Act.
Ensure monthly remittances and submission of statutory returns under Professional Tax, Income Tax,
ESI and Provident Fund within due dates.
Track, renew and administer Group Health Insurance & Group Accidental Insurance and Employee
compensation policies.
Coordinate and meet requirements of Audits – Internal, External and Statutory, related payroll and
HR.
Do Gratuity and Earned Leave Actuary in coronation with evaluators and provide inputs to Fin. for
making provisions in books of accounts.
Manage Group Gratuity Scheme in coordination with Life Insurance Corporation of India and arrange
payments to eligible employees on separation within the due dates.
Issue various payroll related letters as and when request are received from employees.
Implement file tracking & Record keeping system.
Network
Internal : Functional Heads, HODs in Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Maint. , SCM , & Finance and all
staff across RIL.
External : Statutory bodies like PF, ESI, Professional Tax, LIC, service providers – consultants, third party
insurance agencies. Adecco. Etc.
