The Burgos National High School will conduct Training-Workshop for Campus Journalists 2019 on July 25-26,
2019 at Burgos NHS Pavilion from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with the following objectives:
 To equip campus journalists with the necessary skills in journalistic writing, computer lay-outing and radio
script writing and broadcasting skills of the students;
 To scout new editorial staff for school publication;
 To strengthen the ethical values in writing, encouraging critical and creative thinking and develop moral
character and personal discipline of the campus journalists; and
 To select the best pupils/students who will represent their respective schools in the 2018 Divisions
Schools Press Conference.

In this regards, may we request your good office to allow Ma’am ELIZA ABELON to be our Resource Speaker in
the above mentioned training workshop on July 25, 2019. We believe that his in-depth knowledge and expertise in
the field of journalism will help us obtain the objectives set for the training-workshop.
