MINUTES OF THE MEETING – 1st Parent-Teacher Conference

Title: Parent-Teacher Conference

Date: June 17, 2017

Venue: Room 1, Eastern Bacoor National High School

Meeting called to order at 8:24 am by the presiding officer (class adviser).

Members Present:

Presentation of the agenda:

 Reminders on School Policies (absences, tardiness, uniform and haircut)

 Election of Homeroom PTA Officers
 Other Matters

Meeting Proper:

The meeting started with a short prayer and short meet and greet. The parents were reminded
about school policies (attendance, tardiness, uniform and haircut). Specific rules based from the
students ‘handbook was discussed. Queries about this matter was also answered before moving
forward to the next agenda.

The adviser also reminded the parents about students who has problems with attendance. The
adviser suggested possible solution for these students not to be absent or to be late in their
classes. Rules about attendance and tardiness were also emphasized to the parents and
agreement for those always late was made as well.

Other reminders discussed include the following:

 Voluntary contribution for Homeroom PTA

Queries regarding those mentioned concerns were addressed properly in accordance to the
knowledge of the adviser.

After all queries were addressed, the session proceeded with the election of the Homeroom PTA
officers. The elected president presided the said election. The new set of elected officers are as
follows:
 President: Annalyn Cuyo
Vice-President: Arlene Enaje
Secretary: Teresita Velante
Treasurer: Rosario Martos
Auditor: Majuvy Ebardo
P.I.O: Olivia Zante

After electing and recognizing the newly

elected officers, related concerns were
also tackled to remind the parents
regarding their duties to their learners in
school as well as duties of the learners
in school. Parents of the students with
issues in absences and tardiness were
called for attention.

Queries regarding grades, P.E. uniform,

projects and schedule of outside
activities were directed to the subject
teacher concerned.

The meeting adjourned at 10:11 in the morning.
