Name: Michelle Anne Imbong
Position: Teacher I
Learning Area: Science Grade: 7 August 20, 2019
iPlan No.: 6 Quarter: 1 Duration: 50 min. Tuesday
Learning  describe the different levels of biological organization from cell to S7LT-IIc-3
Competency/-ies biosphere
Subject Matter Levels of Biological Organization
Key Concepts to
Classify species according their levels of biological organization
be Developed
K- define the biological levels of organization
Learning S- illustrate classification of species through biological organization
Objectives A-Show active participation in class
V – Show cooperation during the lesson.
Resources Science and Technology II: Biology Textbook. NISMED. 2012. pp. 22-28.
Activity The teacher will present pictures of different species and asks the students their classification.
(Introductory)
Activity Levels of Biological Organization
(Presentation)

Analysis What is the classification of animals found in the zoo?

Abstraction The biological organization of life is a fundamental premise for numerous areas of scientific research,
particularly in the medical sciences. Without this necessary degree of organization, it would be much more
difficult—and likely impossible—to apply the study of the effects of various physical and chemical phenomena
to diseases and physiology (body function).

Application The students will be given strips of paper with the names of examples of each biological organization and they
will classify them on the black board.
Assessment On a ½ sheet of paper, write the levels of biological organization in order and give examples each.
Assignment Prepare for a quiz bee tomorrow.

Activity The questionnaire has only one set. Assessment attached.

Activity
(Presentation)

Analysis What is a Plant cell? A plant cell is a eukaryotic cell that contains a true nucleus and certain organelles to
perform specific functions. However, some of the organelles present in plant cells are different from other
eukaryotic cells.
Abstraction Plant cells are very important for the plant because they are doing important roleon the plant. It helps to respire
and photosynthesis.Photosynthesis is a chemical process through which plants, some bacteria and algae,
produce glucose and oxygen from carbon dioxide and water, using only light as a source of energy.
Application The students will be asked to label the organelles in the plant cell on the black board.
Assessment On your notebook, draw a plant cell and its parts. Label each part.
