Family Dinner

Father: So, How’s your day, kids?

Martin: We had a Group Activity today, we were asked to act like wizards! I was chosen as the
wisest wizard. Our teacher said I played well!

Mother: Wow, that’s fantastic news! How about you, Miguel?

Miguel: Well, it was an ordinary day for me. I hung out with my friends and all. It was fun.

Father: Good, But don’t forget about your studies.

Miguel: Of course dad, I’m actually doing well.

Father: Okay. Now, it is us who have something to tell you now.

Martin: What is it?

Father: Well… I’ll give the spotlight to your mother.

Miguel: What is it, mom? You’re making me a bit nervous.

Mother: Well, you two… are going to be big brothers now.

Miguel & Martin: YOU’RE PREGNANT?!

Mom: Well, yes!

Father: Two months to be exact.

Miguel & Martin: Wow!

Miguel: That’s…

Martin: Great!

Mother: You think?

Miguel: Yeah!

Father: It is great.

Martin: Congratulations to our fam!

Miguel: Is it a bro or a sis?

Mother: We don’t know yet.

Martin: I’d be glad if it was a sis.

Miguel: Me too!

Father: As long as it is healthy I’m happy about it.

Mother: Me too.
Miguel & Martin: Yeah, me too!

*resumes dinner*

Father: Hey, Lucia

Lucia: Yes sir?

Father: Can you take care of the dishes?

Lucia: Of course, sir!

Mother: Are you watching the movie?

Lucia: I am, I cried a lot!

Mother: Told you, it’s wonderful!

Lucia: It is!

Father: Okay enough of that. It’s getting late, and it’s bad for you, dear.

Mother: Yeah, let’s go. Lucia, take care of the dishes, ‘kay?

Lucia: Yes ma’am, you can take a rest now.

Mother: Okay, good night!

Lucia: Good night, too!

*fam goes to bedroom and Lucia washes the dishes*
