SSG PROJECT PROPOSAL

I. Project Summary Information

1. Project Title: You Do Note Crushie! (KaDatenang Ginto Booth)

4. Description: A jail and bail booth integrating socialization among students
as well as raising funds for the organization

7. Source of Fund: Each participant will be charged of voluntary amount upon
admission to the booth
8. Target Participants: Grade 7- 12 students (Approximate population: 8, 000
students)

II. Rationale

Intramurals is an annual school activity that stresses a healthy pastime to help


students refrain from various vices such as drugs, smoking, drinking, and spending
excessive time on electronic devices. It is also the time for students to take a break from
academic works, the proposed project put forth stress-free environment through
socialization among students— the chance to talk and build friendship in the process.
The Supreme Student Government will be holding You Do Note Crushie!
(KaDatenang Ginto Booth), a jail booth, with the end goal of inculcating the students the
role of the school as a socializing agent.
The school is said to be next to the family in terms of importance as far as
socialization is concerned. The school combines formal approach in socialization—
classroom discussion and informal approach—peer interaction. This project is mainly
focused on the peer interaction, where students can socialize with one another.
The booth is an Income-Generating Project (IGP) of the organization which the
latter could utilize in their future projects. Furthermore, students will be able to socialize
with their schoolmates building relationship among them.

III. Project Objectives

General Objective:

The You Do Note Crushie! (Kadatenang Ginto Booth) is a fun and engaging
way to raise funds for the organization as well as putting forth socialization among
students that will help provide extensive opportunities for them to influence one another.

Specific Objectives:
a. Promote socialization among students
b. Apply necessary communication skills
c. Integrating the notion— school as a socializing agent

IV. Project Description


“You Do Note Crushie! (KaDatenang Ginto Booth)” is an income generating
project of Ivan Palencia, SSG President; Alvin S. Bechachino, SSG Adviser; Benedict
Nolasco, Asst. SSG Adviser; and all SSG officers.
Students of Marcial O. Rañola Memorial from grade 7 to 12 will be encouraged to
purchase a warrant to have their crushes arrested. They shall pay an involuntary amount
to avail the warrant at the SSG office. The student together with the SSG police officers
will arrest his/her crush. A friend of the student can accompany the SSG officers in
searching for his/her crush. The search will last for 10 minutes only and if they did not find
the student’s crush, the session will be cancelled and there will be no refund. After
arresting the student’s crush successfully, he/she will be dragged to the You Do Note
Crushie! (Kadenang Ginto Booth) and will be blindfolded and handcuffed. They will be
given 10 minutes to converse with each other. An additional 5 pesos will be charged for
every 5-minute extension. Pictures of them are to be taken and uploaded on the MORMS
SSG page.

The accumulated booth admission will be the funds to be utilized for the future
projects of the organization.

V. Working Committee

To ensure a smooth and organized management of the booth, different working


committees were created. The following are to facilitate in the duration of the said activity:

VI. Materials and implementation: (Pre, During, Post)

a. Pre- Implementation
1. Coordinate with the School principal, SSG officers, and utilities
personnel.
2. Orient the SSG officers on their duties and responsibilities especially
with regards to the project.
3. Look for the appropriate location on where to conduct the project
4. Seek the approval of the school principal
5. Document before the implementation of the project
6. Ask the professional advice from the school principal
7. Prepare the materials and venue to be utilized in the conduct of the
project

b. During
1. Group the SSG officers according to their functions
2. Supervise the project with regards to its quality and service
3. Have documentation upon the implementation of the project
4. Do all the steps preferred for the project

c. Post
1. Prepare a narrative report, financial report and documentation
2. Submit all necessary reports noted by the SSG Adviser and school
principal

VII. Expected Output:

Students shall observe healthy socialization among student community. There


would be an available fund generated from the project which can then be utilized for the
future projects of the organization. Hopefully, students may deepen their sense of
socialization and learn to live not just mere human beings but socializing agents in the
society.

This is to establish a jail booth integrating socialization among students. This aims to
strengthen the notion that the school acts as a socializing agent— enabling the students
to interact with their fellow peers. It is also the time for students to take a break from their
academic works, the proposed project put forth stress-free environment through
socialization among students— the chance to talk and build friendship in the process.
