LESSON NO: 1 TOPIC: It’s a mouse

(Day 9)
Objectives:

To enable the students what is a mouse?

Approach: (5 min)
The teacher will show the picture of the real mouse to the students and encourage them to
find out the similarities between the real mouse and the mouse of the computer.

Methodology: (20 min)


The teacher will encourage the students to understand that some parts of a computer mouse
look like a real mouse i.e the tail of the real mouse looks like the cable of the computer
mouse. The ears of the real mouse look like the buttons of the mouse of a computer. The
teacher will encourage the students to understand why a computer mouse is called a mouse.
Worksheet no. 4 will be introduced and the students will be motivated to complete it.

Activity:
The students will check the work of their partners.

Colour the mouse given on page no. 9 of the book.

Will be the practical day where the students will be taught how to hold a mouse and
how to move it. They will be told about click, double click, dragging and placing the
icons. On the 10 th day they will be given a worksheet to be solved and they will be
encouraged to prepare the lesson for test.

Objectives:

To enable the students to understand the use of mouse

Approach: (2 min)
The teacher will ask the students to hold a mouse and name its features which
are same as of a real mouse.

Methodology: (20 min)


She will encourage them to read page no. 9 with understanding. She will also
encourage them to complete the activity given on page no. 9 of the book. After this
they will read the definitions of click, double click and dragging from the book.

Home Work:
Learn the definition of click, double click and dragging from the book.
Wrap up:
The student will be encourage to share their learning

She will introduce question on the board and encourage the students to write
