MCHS SPORTS HERO

So many people believed in her when she didn’t believe in herself. So many people
doubted her and motivated her every single day to be who she is right now. She failed so
many times but got back up every single failure. She’s been through the toughest times
with her family, but she still standing.

Ladies and gentlemen, students, visitors, and parents, I am proud to introduce to you the
MCHS Sports Hero who exuded sporting prowess that puts her in the limelight.

She started her athletic life with the support of her parents Mr. Arniel Barbero, a pastor and Mrs.
Jo-ann Barbero, a housewife. Her father had become her personal trainer. Back then, the only
material that they used since they can’t afford to buy equipment is a banana trunk, saha sa
saging! Indeed, a very humbling start for this very determined girl.

She began doing her formal training at the age of 11, year 2016. Since then, our Sport Hero has
been unstoppable particularly in the Wushu Arena.

 Batang Pinoy 2019 Gold Medalist

And I am just so blessed to be part of her journey as the coach.

MINTAL COMPREHENSIVE HIGH SCHOOL, let us all stand as we recognize and appreciate
