Awareness Study the map of active volcanoes in Figure 6 page 12, Science LM.

Activity Trace the approximate locations of several volcanoes using a marking pen.

Analysis Compare the location of majority of earthquake epicenters with the location of
volcanoes around the world.

Volcanoes are not randomly distributes, mostly found along the edges of Pacific
Abstraction Ocean or along the Pacific Ring of Fire.

Application Based on the map, mention a country that is unlikely to experience a volcanic
eruption.

Assessment The assessment is based on the activity performed.
