This chapter provides the presentation and interpretation of data. It provides the data in
understanding The Effects of Portable Computers in Education to the Grade 11 Students. It
uses tables to present the data gathered from the respondents.

SOP 1

I. Determine the Impacts of Using Portable Computers to the studies of the Grade
11 Students.

There are positive and negative impacts in using portable computers. Nowadays,
students of Notre of Marbel University – IBED needs to provide their laptops or any
portable computers so that the students can make their assignments and projects that are
printed or in a PowerPoint presentation.

TABLE 1 shows the total number of Grade 11 Students who answered the positive or

negative usage of portable computers. It stated that the students may agree or disagree with

the questions provided. The table showed that the highest rating was high. It means that all

Grade 11 Students agreed that the portable computers have good impacts to their studies.

Nowadays, some of the students using portable computers in a wrong way. The

researchers want to find out the influence of portable computers to the attitude of the students.

It can be good or bad influence to their attitude.

3. Describe How Using Portable Computers Influences the Academic Performance

of the Students.

Using portable computers in education influences the students to their academic

performance. It can gain confidence by having a good performance or presentation inside the

classroom. It will also help the students to enhance their talents and skills by being creative.
