materials, and methods that the proponent acquired to provide the adequate data needed for the
proposed Mental Hospital.

RESEARCH DESIGN

The study used the descriptive type of method that involves the analysis of the data gathered through
fact-finding and interpretation. This requires the use of narrative explanations through the information

researcher to come up into an accurate process of analysis of data.

Various related data were gathered from primary and secondary sources then evaluated, analyzed, and
synthesized. The proponent uses different strategies in collecting data for the proposed study.

The following are used as methods to collect data:

observation has been conducted by the proponent to come up with sufficient data with the
existing status of the area.

Different tools were used by the proponent for data collection for the proposal such as:
a. Site Criteria
Site criteria are the different standards of identifying the appropriate selection of site that
entails the consideration of the existing facilities. This also includes the technical location of the
site.

b. Site Checklist
Site checklist includes the comparison of the two selected site which summarizes all the data
gathered and shows the most appropriate site to be used.

c. Letter
Letters were given by the proponent to every government offices related to the development of
the mental hospital to acquire data duly signed by the thesis adviser of the study who
contributed to the study.

d. Interview questionnaires
This is the set of queries given by the proponent to the respondent during the interview process.
