The teacher will show a garden with five butterflies at the back of the butterflies is the plural
reflexive pronoun. The teacher will call five pupils to pick the five butterflies and use the
reflexive pronoun in a sentence.

The Quarrel
Narrator: One time, the parts of the human body began to
quarrel. They became very angry and decided that they
would not help one another anymore.
Legs: We are not going to walk anymore. You will have to
get around by yourselves. We ourselves will refuse to move.
Hands: We are not going to work for you anymore. From
now on, work for yourselves.
Mouth: Why should I feed you some more? It’s time for you
to feed yourselves. I myself will not eat too.
Eyes: Why do we care for you? We are not going to see for
any longer. See for yourselves. We see ourselves will close
our eyes.
ALL: And so the parts of the body would not help one
another the legs would not walk, the hand would not work,
the mouth would not eat and the eyes would not see. Soon
all the members of the body became weaker and weaker
and the body also becomes weak and thin. Then, the
members of the body saw that they must not quarrel any
longer. They decided to be friends again. The legs began to
walk again, the hands went back to work, mouth began to
eat and the eyes to see. Soon the members became as
strong as before and the body became healthy.
