Braden Judson
My VIU experience
“What surprised me in my program is how multi-
faceted things are. Learning about a diversity of
topics is the best — you’ve got to enjoy what you
learn or you won’t be able to learn it. Ornithology is
very multi-faceted, and I had a great prof, learned
lots and want to continue to study in this area.”

About Braden
•L oved the hands-on learning he got as a volunteer
with VIU’s Bird Banding Station
•T akes healthy breaks to get out trail running and
bird watching
•C onsidering graduate school for future studies
in ornithology
• A graduate of Ladysmith Secondary School

Braden expects to graduate with a Bachelor of

Science in Biology in 2019
