LESSON OUTLINE

OBJECTIVES
At the end of the lesson the learners should be able to:
1. analyze musical elements of selected songs and instrumental pieces heard and perform;
2. explore ways of producing sounds of a variety of sources that would stimulate instruments being studied; and
3. sing songs of Southeast Asia.
INTRODUCTION
The teacher will post different pictures of flags and let the students identify whose flag is being presented.
MOTIVATION
(Group Activity) The class will be divided in to four. Then, the teacher will give a jumbled letters that they need to arrange. The first group to
fix the jumbled letters will have 20pts.
INSTRUCTIONS/DELIVERY
The teacher will discuss about Southeast Asian music.
PRACTICE
The teacher and the students will have an interactions by giving some examples of Southeast Asian music. Then, the teacher will present a
song from the selected Asian countries and let the students follow the right way on pronouncing and singing the song with proper pitch.
ENRICHMENT
(Group Activity) The class will be divided into five groups. Each group must have a representative who will pick the song in which they are
going to perform(Burung kaka tua or Loi loi gratong).
EVALUATION
The teacher will conduct a 20 item quiz to rate the students’ learning.
