II. CONTENT
Introduction to the topic:
Scope and Sequence is specifically refers to the
breadth of the curriculum. Organizing threads that
constitute the skills and content that teachers are
expected to include in their instructions. It is also the
content to be taught at a specific grade levels and the
order in which the content should be taught or the best
learning (building on past knowledge) within a grade.

The scope and sequence of the English subject in


elementary is concerned with developing the
competencies of the students in Four Basic
Language Skills.
