This MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT executed by and among:

AMA COMPUTER COLLEGE TARLAC (AMACC Tarlac), a private educational
institution of higher learning, with address located at Zamora Street, Barangay San
Roque, 2300 Tarlac, Tarlac City and, represented herein by its School Director, Jane A.
Soriano here in after referred to as “AMACC Tarlac”,

DSWD Tarlac home for Women, a local government entity duly organized and existing under the
laws of the PHILIPPINES, with business address at TPH Compound Brgy. San Vicente, Tarlac
City, 2300 Tarlac, here in after referred to as the “DSWD Tarlac home for Women”.

WITNESSETH;

WHEREAS, there are residents in DSWD Tarlac home for Women who belong to the marginal
sector of society and commonly called as informal settlers and some of them are located in depressed
area, particularly the following areas/street namely: TPH Compound Brgy. San Vicente, Tarlac City,
2300 Tarlac.

WHEREAS, TPH Compound Brgy. San Vicente, Tarlac City, 2300 Tarlac, are recognized as a
potent venue for mobilizing people in their numbers to collectively and productively work for
economic self-reliance , equity and social justice.
WHEREAS, AMACC Tarlac is committed to assists the residents of these areas with TPH
Compound Brgy. San Vicente, Tarlac City, 2300 Tarlac as the strategic areas, so they may develop
into a self-reliant community, where equity and social justice prevail.

WHEREAS, AMACC Tarlac recognizes the venue of wholesome relationship with the adopted
Barangay that will allow a hands- on exposure and experience of AMA’s faculty members, students
and employees,to the lives and needs of marginalized Filipinos that a typical urban poor community
like TPH Compound Brgy. San Vicente, Tarlac City, 2300 Tarlac.
NOW, THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the foregoing premises and of the mutual
covenants hereinafter set forth, the AMACC Tarlac and DSWD Tarlac home for Women hereby
agreed to execute this Memorandum of Agreement under the following terms and conditions:

Section 1.AMACC Tarlac primarily through its Community Extension Service Center makes its
faculty- trainers, student-trainers, and other resources accessible to the livelihood projects and all other
projects in the adopted community, especially in the planning, implementation and evaluation of the
latter’s education- training, organizational and business development programs.

Section 2. AMACC Tarlac shall, with the approval of the Barangay Captain, help promote and link
projects in DSWD Tarlac home for Women with other organizations and government offices.

Section 3. The Adopted Barangay shall make itself available as a training station and venue for
exposure for research and outreach activities of the AMACC Tarlac faculty members, students and
non- academic employees.

Section 4. Both parties agree to periodically review the provisions of this agreement to make
modification or revision in the provision as both parties may deem appropriate.

EFFECTIVITY

This agreement shall take effect on _________________, 2019 to ______________, 2022. The
extension of this Agreement and the continuity of the projects shall be agreed upon by the PARTIES at
the end of this Agreement.
