Attanded on board subyect vessel for repair the furuno satellite compass SC 50 , found the unit satellite not function, dismantle
the processor unit and display unit for further checking and detail result fault description,

Turn on the unit found display unit delay to star up ( star up not normal ) Open the cover processor unit found at terminal NMEA
TB no 3 burning mark. Check the back up battery ( Lithium battry CR2450 ) found no voltage. Dismantle PCB processor unit for
Replaced new battery CR2450.

Fixed the PCB and connected all the cable. Turn on the unit found the alert messasge COMUNICATION ERR.
Meaning comunication between display unit and processor has been interrupted.

Connected cable data computer to J 15 for system update , following Check the CR 3 at main pcb found NOT blinking. Meaning
CPU not running.
Comfirmed the Main board 20P8178 is defective
