Summary
As Head of Marketing for SAP in South East Asia I am responsible for driving the SEA marketing
strategy, planning and execution in close alignment with SEA business objectives and market
opportunities. This includes responsibility for the SEA Marketing P&L and managing an organization
of senior marketing leaders across six countries in South East Asia. Being part of both the SEA
senior executive team and the APJ marketing leadership team, I work closely with my team and
relevant stakeholders to drive investments and results around Brand, Pipeline and Engagement to
help our customers in SEA Run Simple.
Prior to this role, I was leading the marketing for several line of business solutions at SAP Asia in
Singapore. My responsibilities included defining the marketing strategy for SAP Business Suite
Powered by SAP HANA and SAP Applications in support of awareness, pipeline generation and
acceleration objectives across Asia Pacific & Japan.
Based out of Johannesburg in South Africa, I also spent over three years as Marketing Lead for SAP
Africa with responsibility for both Large Enterprise and SME Marketing. There I was responsible for
industry, solution, services and channel marketing across sub-Saharan Africa to meet both pipeline
and awareness targets.
I spent 5 years at SAP's global headquarters in Germany where I initially joined a trainee program in
international management. During my last years at the headquarters I worked as Solution Marketing
Manager for SAP Services in the global marketing division.
I hold a dual Bachelor degree in International Business Administration from Germany and the UK. I
completed my MBA with the University of the Witwatersrand, Wits Business School in Johannesburg,
South Africa with specialisation in Marketing and Strategic Management. My academic research
focuses on international marketing with special emphasis and dedication to cross-cultural marketing
and intercultural communications.
