It is my great pleasure to recommend yonael mezmur tadesse for the position related to his Msc.
Study in school of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering Department (thermal engineering
stream) . I have known Yonael for 2 years and he has been my student while he was pursuing
his Msc.Dgree in School of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering department (thermal
engineering stream) in Addis Ababa institute of technology. I have witnessed that he has
developed his mechanical Engineering knowledge and skills to the requirement that a post
graduate of the field should have.
During the academic calendar year 2016-2018 Mr. Yonael was thought two subjects namely
(Renewable Energy Technology and Research methodology) and working his Msc. Thesis under
my supervision.by me in this two consecutive years of the Academic calendar he showed a lot of
interest in learning not only the subject matter but also beyond that its capacity is outstanding
those related to the advanced topics of his Msc. Thesis research title (i.e. Simulation and
Experimental investigation of Biogas Upgrading)
In both the above subjects there were project components as well in the course curriculum and
Mr. yonael perform quite very well in the project components and also in the theory part, thus he
earned B+ and A respectively for the above subjects and also In it he designed, built, and
programmed a Simulation and Experimental investigation of Biogas Upgrading system it scores
a very good grade for his Msc. Thesis work.
During that time, I watched yonael grow into an outstanding individual who excels in both his
academic and personal pursuits. As Yonael’s teacher and adviser, I witnessed his extraordinary
ability to quickly understand advanced mechanical engineering concepts and then adeptly apply
them to real world situations for first hand. His senior year Simulation and Experimental
investigation of Biogas Upgrading thesis was particularly impressive and now this time it is
under publication on AIMS Energy.
Yonael’s academic accomplishments are rivaled only by his personal strengths. His compassion
and charisma are beyond his years and he is well-loved by his peers, as well as all those who had
the pleasure of teaching him. Whenever any of his fellow students are having a difficult time or
feeling down, he never fails to step in with an encouraging word and a smile.
It is my sincere hope that your esteemed institution will grant him proper position so as to enrich
and build his capabilities further and fulfill his dream of taking himself to higher stratum in the
field of mechanical engineering
I highly recommend you accept yonael into your Mechanical Engineering program. Since he has
developed a team work capability during his class study and final post graduate thesis work that
