«PARTS OF THE BODY. THE ROBOT»

в рамках шкільного STEM-ART проекту " LEGO "

Очікувані результати

S - співпрацювати в групі та презентувати результати роботи;

- вивчити назви частин тіла;

T - сконструювати робота з конструктора LEGO;

- випробувати створені моделі;

E
M - розрахувати кількість необхідних цеглинок LEGO;
- порівнювати роботів за розміром та кількістю витрачених цеглинок;

ART - виготовити модель робота та підписати його частини тіла.

Тип уроку: інтегрований.

Інновації: STEM- технологія, інтерактивна гра, LEGO.

Обладнання: конструктор LEGO, інтерактивна гра, аркуші із завданням «Частини тіла робота», стікери.

PROCEDURE:

I. Introduction

TPR: Make a circle. Listen and point: body, head, nose, eyes, ears, mouth, shoulder, arm, hand, finger, leg, knee, foot, toes.

II. Presentation

1) Listen and sing.

2) Touch and name the parts of your body. (This is my nose.)

III. Practice

1) Answer my questions:

How many legs have you got? (eyes, ears, feet, fingers, toes, heads).

2) Do what I say:
  point to your head
 touch your nose
 look at your toes
 wave your arm
 close your eyes
 open your eyes
 stamp your feet.

3) What parts of the body have children got? Label the picture.
4) What body parts have robots got? Work in pairs.
IV. Production

Now you can create your own robot. Use LEGO on your desks to make a robot and stickers to label its parts of the body. Work in
groups of four. In 5 minutes be ready to present your robot.

Answer the questions:

 What is its name?

 How many bricks have you used?
 What parts of the body has it got?
 What can it do?

VI. Presentation

The students present their robots answering the questions.

V. Feedback

Find and point:

 the tallest robot;
 the robots which needs the biggest number of bricks;
 the smallest robot;
 the robot with four arms;
 the robot which can walk;
 the robot you want to have at home.
