The size of one Inkjet Cartridge is 21 sq. cm. & that of Laser
Toner Cartridge is 480 sq. cm. If you place all the cartridges, side
by side, collected for 10 years they will spread across 2,17,676
sq. km. A cartridge takes 450 to 1000 years to decompose.
Approximately 3/4 gallon of fossil fuel is burnt by
manufacturing 1 Laser Cartridge; in 10 years we shall be
burning about 97 million gallons of precious non-renewable
fossil fuels.

location conflict. However, no exclusivity is assured
to any of AbbeeFill franchisees.
4. Will you appoint anyone else in the zone I am
operating in?
The Company will monitor your operations and will
benchmark your performance on various
parameters and will appoint another AbbeeFill
franchisee only if you don't perform as per the
company guidelines. This is strictly based on
guidelines adherence.
5. What is the structure of the Franchise fee? Is it
refundable? Can I pay the same in stages or defer
the payment?
The franchise fee is non-refundable and is fully
payable at the time of signing the agreement.
6.What would be the approximate set up cost?
Your approximate set up cost is described in the
chapter heading “Investment Details”. Please refer
to our financial model or ask us for a specific work
out for your location.
7. What would be my return on investment &
payback period?
Return on investment depends upon your
geography and your capability to manage and run
your own business according to the specified
standard operating procedures. The estimated pay
back period on an average is between 2 to 3 years &
ROI will be approx. 33%.
8.What is the size of the market?
The cartridge refill market is estimated at over Rs
3000 crores per year. It is expected to grow at 20-
25% annually. Refer to the working in the earlier
pages.

9.What is the competition like?
The market place today is clustered with
indigenous refilling people operating out of their
own whims and fancies. There is not a single
branded standardized refilling Company operating
across the country and the customers has no
options but to get their cartridges refilled from
these neighborhood individuals or suppliers. It is
here that we believe we are bringing about a
change and offer the customers reliable products
and services at a reasonable cost.
10. Who does the site selection? What assistance do
we get from AbbeeFill if we do not have a ready
location?
The franchisee will select the site; AbbeeFill will do
the final approval. Please understand very clearly,
from our officer, the exact location requirements we
need to have. We will help you identify some of the
best locations from where you could start this
business based on our experience.
11.Will I get adequate training?
You and your initial team will be provided an
intensive training in all functions of the business.
12.What about advertising & sales promotion?
AbbeeFill has planned extensive advertising in
various media. As mentioned earlier we have an
outlay of Rs 5 crores to be spent in the next 24
months. Advertising and promotional activities
within your location will have to be done by you.
The Company will support you with collaterals and
may share in your costs depending upon your
performance.
13. Do you offer technical support?
We offer technical support Monday to Saturday
from 9:30 am to 7 pm.
14.Where are you located?
Our head quarters are in Pune. We will keep you
informed should we add locations for your
convenience.
15. How do I get started?
Fill up the information form and send the Letter Of
Intent along with the M emorandum of
Understanding at the address mentioned. We shall
revert back to you at the earliest.

Step 1: First Contact
Write in, call or fax to receive a copy of the AbbeeFill
Franchise Kit. Send the completed application form
and receive the LOI & MOU documents. Fill in the LOI
& MOU Documents and send it to us along with a DD
for Rs 10,000/- confirming your interest in taking up
the AbbeeFill franchisee.
Step 2: First Interview
If you are short-listed, an AbbeeFill officer will contact
you to set time for a personal interview. If you are not
s h o r t - l i s te d, A b b e e Fi l l s h a l l re f u n d yo u r
commitment money which you had sent along with
the LOI & MOU. However, if you withdraw unilaterally,
commitment money will not be refunded. If you
accept the proposal, this commitment money will be
adjusted in franchisee fee.
Step 3: Preliminary Introduction
Upon completion of the interview session, we will
introduce you to the AbbeeFill franchise system and
give you an overview of the business along with our
agreement that would have to be signed up.
Step 4: Franchise Agreement
Detailed terms and conditions in the AbbeeFill
franchise agreement will be discussed & signed. At
this stage, franchisee fee will have to be paid in full, to
the company and other project investment capital is
to be deposited into an Escrow Account for execution
of the project. A detailed plan is finalized along with
clear time guidelines of the things that need to be
done including fit outs, recruitment, launch amongst
other activities as discussed and agreed.
Step 5: Initial Franchise Training Programme
You and your team will undergo an initial franchise
training programme at AbbeeFill head quarters in
Pune. You can also familiarize yourself with various
operations you would need to know to successfully
manage your own AbbeeFill Cartridge Refill Station.

Congratulations! You are on your way to be
