Task 5: Prepare online teaching materials

When learning and studying from home or online comes, students must be provided
with some appropriate materials and resources that support their learning process.
Based on my discussion with my MST, students are provided by the MOE with some
equipment that allow them to access and acquire the needed knowledge by their
teachers.

The first basic source that students and teachers need to be provided with to attend the
online learning sessions is the internet. The second material or tool is the laptop,
which is used by both students and teachers use it to attend the online sessions. The
MOE has provided each student in Al Fujairah School with a laptop that contains a
camera, which students use it to show themselves to their teachers while taking the
attendance. The third teaching material is the PowerPoint presentation, which teachers
use to present the course or the lesson content to the students such as classroom rules,
new concepts and vocabulary, pictures, examples and information.

Fourth, are the worksheets of the summative and formative assessments that teachers
use to check their students understanding and ensure that they achieved their lessons
objectives. Fifth, are the websites used to implement some learning games to entertain
students and other online activities such as Kahoot and Alef websites. Sixth is the
timer that teachers use to set a specific time for students to finish each task. Finally is
the screen recording, which is used only by teachers to record the whole sessions.
Teachers can return to it to reflect on their teaching strategies and students might use
it to review the important things that have been discussed during the sessions.
