KEY TO DICTIONARY ENTRIES

Finding the word

If you are unfamiliar with a Hokkien word, use the English glossary as a guide first. The glossary will indicate
the Hokkien word. In the dictionary, the Hokkien words are arranged in alphabetical order and hyphens are
disregarded in the alphabetical order.
