AIM:
1. Familiarize students with various possibilities of advanced materials which enable covering larger
spans pertaining to roofing;
2. Explain possibilities of cost effective, and sustainable roofing systems
3. To present effective means of shutter/ partition provisions for fenestrations/ as space dividers
which are which are space, time, energy, labour, savers with long durability;
OBJECTIVE:
To expand the knowledge of materials and method of construction in the present which will
enable students to respond effectively to the architectural design needs of both present and
future.
METHODOLOGY:
1. Initial understanding of subject through sketching and taking notes while facilitator presents the
subject.
2. Exploring of ways to tackle given exercises by facilitators.
3. Learning through drafting
4. Learning to present topics explored
5. Learning through model making of topics covered in studio hours
