Nathan TALAMAHINA

I have known Nathan from March 2011.

Nathan is an excellent classroom teacher who is up to date and reflective about his teaching
practice. He employs teaching strategies and management techniques that highlighted him as
one of our best classroom practitioners. He sets high standards and is very well respected by
students who know he will work hard to ensure they can achieve.

His commitment and skills as a teacher were recognized when Nathan’s leadership abilities
were highlighted with his promotion to 2 i/c in PE. He also coached the 1st XV Rugby side to
national and international titles.

Nathan is a committed, enthusiastic and resourceful person. He was always punctual and
reliable and his relationships with students, teachers and the Principal are very professional.
Staff value the contribution Nathan has made to the college.

His approach is always positive and he provided an excellent role model to our students. I
have valued his keen sense of humor and ability to see the best in people. Nathan has a calm
approach and is thoughtful and astute in his decisions.

Personally I have thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated working with Nathan. His peers have
always valued his contribution to the school community and professionalism.
