I. OBJECTIVES
At the end of the lesson, the students are expected to:

III. PROCEDURE
A. ENGAGEMENT
1. PICTURE ANALYSIS
-Teacher will post pictures on the board in which students will be asked to describe the picture.
The following question will be asked by the teacher;
1. What can you observe from these pictures?
B. EXPLORE
1. VIDEO CLIP
Teacher will let the students to go to their groups, ask to watch the short video clip. After which, teacher
will asked students what is the importance of biodiversity?
C. EXPLAIN
1. BRAINSTORMING
Teacher will ask students to go to their group; each group will be given a passage to read about the
types of biodiversity. Students will be asked to brain storm about the topic. Teacher will ask one
member per group to identify and describe the different types of biodiversity.
D. ELABORATE
1. JUMBLED Letters
-Teacher will be posting jumbled letters after which students will be asked to identify the jumbled letters
of types of biodiversity. After which, students will be asked to describe the identified types of
biodiversity
D. EVALUATE
I. IDENTIFICATION
Directions: Write SD if the statement is about species diversity, GD if the statement is about genetic
diversity and ED if the statement is about ecosystem diversity.
