SELF REGULATION

Self regulation is an important aspect in which we use this to deal with everyday and be able to
sustain emotions, behavior, thoughts or even shift attentions and stop reacting negatively.
Managing emotions in which we realize, readily accept and as well controls oneself and is
important because it changes thoughts and feeling towards something and break out outburst
of emotions. We deal with emotions everyday but as outburst of feelings are triggered we
intend to forget using our executive-functions skills and be drive for strong emotions to take
over oneself. But as human we have the capacity to learn and manage emotions and be able to
recognize strong feelings and use strategies to calm down and less likely to act in impulsive or
aggressive ways and even withdraw when overwhelmed to get along with others or have strong
social skills.
