Nature by Numbers

Today, in our modern world, can you imagine life without mathematics? Can you

live a day without numbers? I bet you wouldn’t, as we used mathematics all the time

even without us noticing. We used numbers to tell time, to count our penny and even to

determined how many cups of rice to cook, but mathematics is not as simple as that. It

was beyond what we see and what our minds can comprehend.

Mathematics plays a crucial role in everything that exists in our world. As shown

in the video, Math can be found in every corner in nature, it was deeply rooted in our

environment. Everyone has its own sequenced, patterns that was organized

mathematically, measurement, shapes (ex. how hexagons are perfectly placed into

each other), angles etc. It was like in every equation there should be a corresponding

formula. In short everything that exists has an adequate answer in mathematics, that’s

why the two are well connected for the ideas of our basic knowledge. And as we dig

deeper, it was beautiful how nature is linked in mathematics to see the entire world in

different ways.

Overall, Numbers are used anywhere and everywhere. It covers every aspect of

our lives but also, it is more than what we know. Mathematics is everything that

revolved around us. It is good how mathematics is there for nature to illustrate precisely

for better understanding the underlying beauty in our world.
