Universal Service Processing Board (USP) performs the following functions:
l CMP Functions
Processes the common control plane protocols of the Iub and Iu interfaces.
l DMP Functions
Processes the dedicated control plane protocols of the Ius and Iu interfaces.
l RUP functions
Processes the user plane protocols of CS and PS services

• ON:The indicator is ON
• OFF:The indicator is OFF
• Periodical flashing at 5 Hz:The period is 0.2 second with the 50% duty ratio. That is, the indicator is
ON for 0.1 second and OFF for 0.1 second
• Periodical flashing at 2 Hz:The period is 0.5 second with the 50% duty ratio. That is, the indicator is
ON for 0.25 second and OFF for 0.25 second
• Periodical flashing at 1 Hz:The period is 1 second with the 50% duty ratio. That is, the indicator is
ON for 0.5 second and OFF for 0.5 second
• Periodical flashing at 1 Hz:The period is 1 second with the 90% duty ratio. That is, the indicator is
ON for 0.9 second and OFF for 0.1 second
• Periodical flashing at 0.5 Hz:The period is 2 second with the 50% duty ratio. That is, the indicator is
ON for 1 second and OFF for 1 second
