WRITING, PART
GOAL:
Write and present a story in English about a case of discrimination using the words of sequence of
events correctly.
Create a video or audio of you reading your fictional story out loud .
Include the information in the box below.
Information

Personal Information: 14 years old high school student.
Type of discrimination: Body size discrimination
Stereotypes : People think she is lazy.
Qualities: She is hardworking, organized and very smart.

COMPETENCE:
Write different types of text in English as a Foreign Language
CAPACITY:
Organize and develop ideas in English in a cohesion and coherent way.
PERFORMANCE:
Produce written texts in English around a topic with coherence, cohesion
and fluency according to her level. Organize them by establishing logical relationships (ex. “ Then,
after that, finally …) expanding information in a pertinent way with appropriate vocabulary.
ACTIVITIES:
Individually:
A. You can do it using the computer, using Microsoft Word, Power Point or any other app of your
choice .
B. Remember to use the Internet or apps with the help or permission of a responsible adult.
C. You can write your text in pen or pencil on a piece of paper.
D. Write a first draft of the story and then revise if it has the characteristics below.
E. Finally, create a video or audio of you reading your fictional story out loud.
F. You should take into consideration to write this text the following characteristics:

A. Show your idea to your parents, siblings, those you have at home or your teacher if they are in
contact and explain the seven characteristics that your text must have. Take note of the
contributions and improve your idea to make your text in English .
B. Now, create your text.
C. Show all of us your creativity!
D. You can compare and share on line your text to the class.
