CHECKING OF SERVO VALVE THROUGH BREAKOUT BOX

1 PURPOSE:
 To remove / install break out box to the servo valve
2 SCOPE:
 Electrical & Instrument Department (YES)
 Moulding Process (YES)
 Safety ( NO)
3 PRE-REQUISITE
 Approved cold work permit
 Proper tools
4 PROCEDURE:
 Generate a cold work permit according to the job
 Motor must be electrically isolate
 Remove the electrical connector from the servo valve
 Attach the breakout box connector (which is to be install) to the servo valve and the servo valve
cable to the breakout box
 Make sure that breakout box is accessible from outside of the gates
 Attach its multimeter to the break out box
 For removing the break out box, remove its multimeter
 Then remove the male end of the breakout box connector to the servo valve and the female end to
the servo valve cable
 Then reconnect the servo valve cable to the servo valve
 After completion of job, close your work permit from concerned authorized personnel
 Clean the area & remove all the tools
 Make an entry of the said job in the technician log book
