ABSTRAK
Pada remaja sering bertindak secara emosional tanpa memikirkan dampaknya sehingga emosional tersebut dapat
menghambat dalam perkembangan anak. Salah satu penghambat dalam perkembangan anak adalah bullying. Bullying
adalah penindasan, peperundungan, perisakan atau pengintimidasian pada seseorang yang akan merasa tertekan dengan
lingkungan disekitarnya sehingga dapat terganggunya interaksi sosial. Mengetahui hubungan kejadian bullying verbal
dengan kemampuan interaksi sosial pada remaja di SMA Sultan Agung 1 Kota Semarang. Deskriptif kuantitatif dengan
desain cross sectional. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah proportional random sampling dengan cara undian pada 153
siswa dengan uji data chi-square. Ditunjukkan mayoritas mempunyai kejadian bullying rendah sebanyak 86 responden
(56,2%), mayoritas mempunyai interaksi sosial baik sebanyak 93 responden (60,8%) dan didapatkan nilai p value sebesar
0,000 < 0,05. Ada hubungan kejadian bullying verbal dengan kemampuan interaksi sosial pada remaja di SMA Sultan
Agung 1 Kota semarang.
ABSTRACT
In adolescents often act emotionally without thinking about its effects so that emotional can inhibit children's development.
One of the obstacles in children's development is bullying. Bullying is oppression, harassment, or intimidation on someone
who will feel pressured by the surrounding environment so that social interaction can be disrupted. This study was to find
out the relationship between the occurrence of verbal bullying and the ability of social interaction in adolescents in Sultan
Agung 1 High School, Semarang City. Quantitative descriptive with cross sectional design was used in this study. The
sampling technique was proportional random sampling by lottery on 153 students with the chi-square data test. It was
shown that the majority had low incidence of bullying as many as 86 respondents (56.2%), the majority had good social
interaction as many as 93 respondents (60.8%) and obtained a p value of 0,000 <0.05. There is a correlation between the
occurrence of verbal bullying with the ability of social interaction in adolescents in Sultan Agung 1 High School Semarang.
