ACTIVITY B

B. TRUE OR FALSE: Write TRUE for correct statements and FALSE for incorrect answer.
FALSE 1. Friction increases the kinetic energy of a body.
FALSE 2. Gravity is an example of non conservative force.
FALSE 3. Friction is a conservative force.
FALSE 4.Potential energy is an example of non conservative force.
FALSE 5. A conservative force exists when the work done by that force on an object
is dependent of the object's path

c. 1720 L

d. 435 L

E. SYNTHESIS(Generalization)/

State the following Gas Laws;

1. Boyle’s Law

It describes the indirect relationship between pressure (P) and volume (V). As pressure increase, volume
decreases. As volume decrease, pressure increases. It can be shown as: P1V1 = P2V2

2. Charle’s Law

It describes the direct relationship between volume (V) and temperature (T). As volume increases,
temperature also increases and vice versa. As temperature decrease, volume also decreases and vice

versa. It can be shown as: =

3. Gay Lussac’s Law

It describes the direct relationship between pressure (P) and temperature(T). As pressure increase,
temperature also increases and vice versa. As pressure decrease, temperature also decreases and vice

WHY DO AEROSOL CANS HAVE FLAMMABLE SIGN?
- aerosol cans present a hazard because of the compressed gas used as a
propellant. If punctured, the contents may be released so forcefully that
injuries can result.
REFLECTION(Integration):

Then the LORD God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the
breath of life, and the man became a living being.(Genesis 2:7)

How will you relate the bible verse in Gas Law?

The Bible verse means that is the moment when all human life begins. Human life is diverse. We have a
lot of variety in our life which includes plants, animals, environment, and humans but even though we
are different from each other, we still have a connection to each other. This can relate to the Gas Law
where in despite the differences of chemical properties, the gases behaviours still interacts and have a
connection with each other.

How will you take care the life God has given you?

We will take care of life God has given us by appreciating and being responsible to everything around us
that is created by him because without God, our life is meaningless. Without God, life will not exist. His
beautiful creations such as atoms, matter, and cells. We should take care of it because these are the one
who complete our life.
