CLASS STEPS

DESCRIPTIVE PARAGRAPH
Throughout this video, I could observe a English class about the lesson "The deadliest animal" directed by the
teacher Chris Westergaard to Czech students with an intermediate English level. Starting from the topic about
the most dangerous animals, this teacher works a series of activities in which the students had to describe, ask
questions, draw, create new elements and learn vocabulary related to the topic.

DIDACTICS TERMS
The excellent planning of the Chris Westergaard teacher's class should be highlighted, since it is noted that
there is a functional order for the class, since the beginning to the end of his class the activities possess clear
and pertinent objectives and indications. Although it is not a very kinesthetic-oriented class, the students
managed to carry out different cognitive activities such as drawing, questioning, imagining and creating
new elements according to the topic. The evaluation was constant and assessing the process, since Mr.
Westergaard, during each activity, walked around his students, watching, observing and correcting them at
the right time.
